A 120,000 square foot, highly advanced production facility has opened in China, 25 minutes from the Hong Kong border. Outfitted with the latest European CadCam technology, the factory is on par with the most efficient large-scale factories in the U.S. and Europe. Technologically, the factory is organized under the principals that have guided the most successful sewing and accessory manufactories in Europe and Japan, known as the Toyota or Kan-bai system. The implementation of these systems has allowed LBI CHINA to achieve the coveted ISO9001 - 2000 Certification, plus quality awards from UKAS in England and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
Effort has been made in staff training in each department from design to tool making, from the cutting room floor to the packaging department. LBI CHINA receives regular visits from quality inspectors from the USA and Europe who ensure the factory's commitment to efficiency, quality, care for the environment and human resources are being carried out.
